I am a father of two living on Värmdö, on the outskirts of Stockholm in Sweden. As far back as I can remember, I have had a strong fascination with nature and I have an almost constant longing for free spaces.
In my teens I had a great interest in photography and spent a lot of time in my own darkroom in the family's basement. The transition to digital photography took a long time, partly due to the poor image quality the first cameras could offer for a reasonable cost. When, after my children had grown up, I bought a full-size camera in 2013, my old interest returned with force.
Photographing landscapes provides a strong closeness to nature and is an almost unmatched way to "charge the batteries" after a stressful week at work, usually with my dog on a tram in some of Stockholm's fine nature areas. However, landscape photography has become more important than that to me. It is an area where I want to develop and set high personal goals.
All images are taken in raw format, which means that they are processed in the computer based on my personal preferences. I never manipulate my pictures. My image feed ends with printing in paper on my own printer.
I use a Nikon full frame DSLR with lenses from Nikon, Zeiss and Sigma.
